Community Visioning - Help Create the Future for the Village of Lombardy
An update will be provided to the Rideau Lakes Economic Development Committee at their regular meeting on November 4, 2024.
Now complete, The Township of Rideau Lakes welcomed all community members to participate in conversations about the future for the Village of Lombardy. Information has been gathered about how residents and stakeholders want to see their community in the next ten to fifteen years; “Community Visioning” Sessions were held, and people were encouraged to complete a short survey. This opportunity provided a positive contribution to the vision for Lombardy, to determine what is desired; and the specifics of how you get there will come later!

For people who wanted an alternative way to participate, they could provide their input in writing by email, mail or in person. The following questions were posed.

- What existing strengths and assets can we build on?
- What would you like to see in the community by the year 2030?
- How will we know when we achieve the vision (indicators/developments)?
