NEW in 2020: Bag tags will be accepted at the PTS. Bag tags must be placed on garbage bags prior to going to Transfer Station.

All bagged waste MUST be in CLEAR BAGS.

Curbside Collection & Office Hours - Christmas

On behalf of Council and Staff, we wish you a safe and happy holiday season!

The Municipal Office will be closed from December 24th at 12:00p.m. until January 1st, 2025. The office will re-open with regular hours on January 2nd at 8:30 a.m.

Waste/Curbside Collection Pickup Schedule:

Monday, December 30 - Monday Collection

Tuesday, December 31 - Tuessday Collection

Wednesday, January 1 - No Curbside Collection

Thursday, January 2 - Wednesday Collection

Friday, January 3 - Thursday Collection
Saturday, January 4 - Friday Collection

Portland Transfer Station:

The Portland Transfer Station will be closed on Wednesday, January 1st.

2025 Calendars -

Due to the delay from the Canada Post strike, Calendars will not be mailed out like they usually are. They will be available to pick up at the Municipal Office in Chantry and at the following locations. Calendars should be in all locations by Monday.
