REGISTER FOR THE 2024 SWIM PROGRAM
The Township of Rideau Lakes is hosting Life Saving Society swimming lessons at 2 locations this August.
- Sand Lake Park
- Lower Beverly Lake Park
Lessons are offered on a weekly sign-up. In order to complete a Swim Level, you must register for 2 weeks (do not need to be consecutive). We are happy to instruct your child for one week and will offer a skills based program. They will still recieve a swim card after the week detailing out areas of excellence and improvement.
2024 Program
When: The Swim Porgram runs weekly Monday- Friday for 30/45 minutes daily. Lessons do not run on statutory holidays (August 5, 2024).
Cost: $39.55 taxes included
Parents/Guardians must remain on site while their child is participating in the program. If you are registering a child for a Preschool program, please ensure there is an adult who is prepared to be in the water with the child for the full lesson.
If you child has their own lifejacket/pfd, please bring it with you for each session.

Mornings
Time: 9:30AM (Beginners/Intermediate) or 10:30AM (Beginners/Intermediate) or 11:30AM (Advanced) (Note: All times and levels OPEN)
Location: Sand Lake Park
Afternoons
Time: 1:30PM (Begginers) or 2:30PM (Intermediate) or 3:30PM (Advaced)
Location: Lower Beverley Lake Park (Note: July 29- August 2, August 5-9, and August 12-16 1:30pm FULL)

Waiting lists will be prepared once a session is filled. Parents will receive an e-mail or telephone call to confirm your child’s registration at the Swim Program and level.
Registration
To register your child for this program please fill out a registration form and return it to the Township Municipal Offices in Chantry (1439 County Road 8) along with full payment by cheque, cash or debit only.
2024 Registration Fees $39.55 taxes included per week
Please contact for fee inquiries, we may have some subsidies available.
Frontenac Arch Biosphere Nature Camp Swim Lesson Ad-on
Sand Lake Park Nature Camp Participants are invited to register for Swim Lessons. The Swim Instructor will work the the Nature Camp staff to pull participants for swim lessons daily, in the morning.
Lessons will be offered for 30/45 minutes depending on the childs level.
If your Child is attending the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Day Camp at Sand Lake Park and would like to participate in swimming, a skill based program will be offered.
The cost per week for FAB Nature Camp Participant is still $39.55 taxes included per week.
