The Public Works Department is comprised of the departments of Roads, Drainage, Environmental Services and Municipal Properties.
Roads
The Roads Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Township infrastructure including capital improvement projects, snow plowing and removal, street lighting, storm sewers and drainage, road repairs and roadside mowing, entranceways of municipal roads and bridge repairs.
Drainage
The Roads Department asks that if you see a culvert screen plugged, do not remove the screen. Please contact the Office to report it. It’s easier for Staff to clear the screen than it is to clear the culvert. If you remove the screen, the beavers get right in the culvert and plug the end of it. When the screen is removed it makes the beaver’s job easier and our job harder. Culverts are being checked regularly. Thank you for your cooperation.
