LOCATION: PORTLAND TRANSFER STATION – 4427H Old Kingston Rd
TIMELINE: Work to begin October 28, 2024, and be completed in 3 weeks

The Township of Rideau Lakes has awarded the above noted project to AWD Contractors. AWD is to begin work on October 28, and the project is scheduled to be completed in 3 weeks.
The Transfer Station will be closed for the duration of the work. This means the Transfer Station will not be open to the public on Wednesdays and Saturdays during this time. In the meantime, please take advantage of the Townships residential curbside collection program for regular household waste and recyclables.
