The Township of Rideau Lakes is pleased to acknowledge the generous donation by Northland Power for the purchase of a snowblower needed by volunteers to keep the Elgin Outdoor Rink accessible for recreation by all ages in the community.

Northland Power operates the Generating Station at 878 McCann Road near Crosby. “Northland is part of our community, and we are so grateful that they have stepped up when our volunteers needed new equipment,” stated Deputy Mayor Paula Banks.

A cheque for $3,000 was presented to Councillor Linda Carr this week by Jacob Ware and Cory Sauve of Northland Power. The Township extends our appreciation for the incredible support from our business community.
